Microsoft is bringing dark mode to its To-Do app for every Windows 10 user. This theme went live for Windows 10 Insiders last week, however, it is now also available to non-Insiders through an update to the app according to the folks at WindowsCentral. The new update brings the following changes to the app along with the Dark Theme.

  • Introducing Dark Theme! Just head to your app Settings where you’ll have the choice to select the new dark theme. We hope you’ll find it as easy on the eyes as we do.
  • We’ve made it easier to create recurring to-dos. With this update, the option to repeat a to-do is always visible in the detail view.
  • To-dos in shared lists are now included in Suggestions, so you’ll have a better overview of all your to-dos when planning your day.

You can get to try this Dark Theme by updating your To-Do app to version 1.33.11732.0 via the Microsoft Store.

Changing to the Dark Theme will also enable you to sync the theme with your system settings. This means that when you opt for the Dark Theme at the system level, To-Do will also go dark. Microsoft has been slowly adding dark modes to a number of its apps, and its To-Do app is the latest to receive the coveted overhaul. However, do note that this app uses more grey tones than blacks that are usually seen in other apps.
