Yesterday, renowned modder Halk Hogan unveiled the upcoming texture mod Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project. According to Hogan, the release date is coming soon.

Hello, my friends.
Yeah, finally, it's time for Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project! This game definitely deserves love. I've been working on this project for a short time, but as you can see, some work is already completed. The initial version (1.0) will be focused on reworking various low resolution textures and making them definitely more eye candy preserving original art style. Every detail in every single texture matters. 🙂 Of course, everything is optimized as much as possible, so you should not lose too much performance, and at the same time, the game will be more beautiful. More updates are also planned. Release date soon. And don't forget that The Witcher 3 HDRP NextGen is also coming. Thanks!

That's right, Hogan is the author of the acclaimed The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project. While there are many texture mods out there (including some already available for Cyberpunk 2077), his work on The Witcher 3 earned Hogan the attention of CD Projekt RED as the studio resolved to include the HDRP texture mod in The Witcher 3 Next-Gen.

You can take a first glimpse at Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project (which Hogan had first teased in late 2020, shortly after the game's release) in the footage below.

In other Cyberpunk 2077 news, the game recently received NVIDIA DLSS 3 and NVIDIA Reflex support. Later this year, CD Projekt RED will update the game with enhanced ray traced effects in the so-called Overdrive Mode, which features RTX Direct Illumination, full-resolution ray traced reflections, and other visual upgrades. Cyberpunk 2077 is also scheduled to get the Phantom Liberty expansion, repo
