I imagine, like me, you've been participating in the Conqueror's Blade open weekend over the weekend. Of course you have and, as I mentioned a few days ago, the party can continue past the open beta. Starting at 16:00 CEST until the 20th of April, 10:00 CEST, is Spring Mayhem, continuing the events of the open weekend.
During the event, you will be able to access a large amount of the game as there are character boosts for everybody who participates. Not only that, in a huge boost for those – like me – who are interested in the game when it finally goes live, there are in-game events that have permanent account rewards.
To celebrate the open weekend and Spring Mayhem, our friends at My.com have given us 300 keys for Explorer's Packs, priced at $14.99 on the official site. These packs reward you with a number of rewards:
- Access to all remaining test phases
- 3 days early access
- 7-day Premium Account
- Authentic Hair Style (Additional shade when creating a character)
- Unique "Explorer" title
- Explorer's Kit (three boxes containing siege weaponry)
- Furious Samurai Armour (Cosmetic only)
- Janissary Unit Attire (Cosmetic only)
All I can do is recommend you grab a key and make sure you jump on when you can and be ready for when the game is finally released, giving yourself a slight boost with your newly grabbed Explorer's Pack. Here's what I thought about Conqueror's Blade back when I tried the last closed beta:
Looking and Conqueror’s Blade I see a game that I honestly think I’ll sink quite a bit of time in. While yes, I have questions on how the world map and territory system will work, there are also concerns that the monetisation systems could be changed before it’s released. However, there is still time for the game to develop into the game it wants to be, with other tests for me to explore and see exactly how the game is turning out.
I once said that Conqueror’s Blade is a “Brilliantly Gory Battlefield” and in combat, I stick by that. Let’s hope everything else becomes as refined and engaging as hacking away at enemy soldiers.
