Civilization V was officially announced at E3 2010 showing up some new screenshots of the game which you can view below. The game will be released for the PC on 21st September while the Publisher of the game 2K said that the game will be released on 24th September. While Pre-Ordering the game through steam which will have DRM and other features will get you the 'Cradle of Civilization Map Pack: Mesopotamia' downloadable content of the game for free.
