Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is really pushing visual fidelity again, after a few years of it not being a core focus, and Infinity Ward promises the game will be particularly good looking on PC. To prove their point, they’ve just released an ultrawide 4K PC trailer for Modern Warfare, and sure enough, this is some eye-popping footage. Check out the new trailer, below.

Here’s a quick rundown of some of the PC features Modern Warfare will be offering:

The Game Awards 2019 Nominees Announced, Death Stranding and Control Lead the Pack

  • 4K and Uncapped Frame Rate: You’re able watch and play at 4K resolution, without a frame-rate capping, allowing you flexibility when adjusting your settings.
  • Expansive Customization Options for PC: Developer Beenox has been working closely in conjunction with Infinity Ward to ensure the PC version of Modern Warfare sets a new high water-mark for customization, featuring more customization options than we’ve ever had in a Call of Duty game.
  • Squad up with Crossplay: Crossplay (the ability to fight with or against players on console and PC) is available at launch.
  • Ultrawide and Multi-Monitor Support: How wide do you want your aspect ratio to be? How many monitors do you want to play Modern Warfare on? It’s up to you!

The game will also offer a variety of exclusive features to those playing NVIDIA graphics cards, including raytracing, adaptive shading, and NVIDIA Ansel and NVIDIA Highlights support. Get the details here.

Finally, Activision has revealed when you can start preloading Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Xbox One and PS4 preloading is available now in North America and Europe, while PC preloads will kick off on October 22 at 10am PT. Thankfully, the download won’t be quite as gargantuan as we previously thought.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launches on Xbox One and PS4 on October 25. Depending on where you live in the world, the game will be available slightly earlier on PC on October 24 at 6pm PT.
