Bethesda Suggests This Year’s E3 Showcase Might Be The Longest Ever While Cryptic Teases Continue

Following the listings leaked by Walmart Canada (by the way, an official statement was issued to VICE's Motherboard which blamed the leak squarely on a technical glitch), Bethesda reacted very differently in comparison to every other publisher whose E3 2018 games supposedly got leaked.

First of all, the official Rage Twitter account was reactivated and posted the following (and rather fun) tweet of 'corrections' for Walmart.

Yesterday, however, the cryptic teases continued on the official Bethesda Twitter account. The first image shows London's famous Big Ben; the second image shows a rocket going to space. What do these two images have in common? First of all, the pinkish color (the same one used by RAGE's account to "correct" the Walmart leak).

Furthermore, if you look closely the Big Ben's hands indicate 5:14 and the very same numbers are also etched on the rocket's upper part. This could suggest that we'll learn more about one or more Bethesda titles on Monday, May 14th, ahead of a full reveal during the E3 2018 Showcase event.

A third image also popped on Twitter a few hours ago, using the same pinkish color once again. There are some differences here, though, as we couldn't spot the numbers anywhere in this case. Furthermore, the place has been recognized as the Sukiyabashi Crossing in Tokyo's Ginza quarter. Fans are therefore speculating whether that means Arkane's ambitious The Crossing project (whose trademark was renewed in late 2016) is being rekindled once again and primed for an E3 2018 reveal.

On top of all these teases, Bethesda Senior VP of Global Communication and Marketing Pete Hines said on Twitter that the E3 2018 Showcase event might be the longest ever made by the company. He also confirmed he'll be presenting it.

#Bethesda Showcase is in one month. I’m starting to get excited. We have a lot to show you this year. Might be our longest E3 Showcase ever? Not sure, but it’s packed. #BE3

The Bethesda E3 2018 Showcase event will air on June 10th at 6:30 PM Pacific Time.
