Beta 5 Of iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1 And tvOS 12.1 Is Now Available For Download [Update]
Today, Apple has seen fit to release the beta 5 of its upcoming iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1 and tvOS 12.1 to developers. If you're a developer, you can now download the said beta builds from Apple's Developer Center. Apple Seeds Beta 5 Of iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1 And tvOS 12.1 To Developers
If you're willing to give iOS 12.1 beta 5 a go, it can be installed through the Apple Developer Center or via OTA mechanism. Do make sure that a proper configuration profile is installed from the Developer Center. As for what the new beta build brings is pretty hazy as it is too early. We will let you guys know as soon as developers discover something new.
watchOS 5.1 Beta 5 is also available to developers and can be downloaded from the company's Developer Center. You will find the update on your iPhone's Watch app. Simply go to General and then hit Software update and you're good to go. Do make sure that your device has over 50 percent of battery life. Again, it is too early to see what's part of the latest beta build, so stay tuned in for more details on it.
Lastly, tvOS 12.1 can be downloaded via a profile which is installed using Xcode. All subsequent beta builds can then be downloaded via the OTA mechanism. The update is designed for the fourth and fifth generation of the Apple TV.
