Custom variants of the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 are listed before launch, revealing the prices that AMD's board partners were asking for.
XFX Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT Listed; XFX Asks for $849 for the Mercury OC Magnetic Air Edition for RX 9070 XT
We are hardly a few hours away from the official retail launch of the Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT GPUs. Since the retailers have already prepared their product pages, we have early access to the listings on one of the major NA retailers. While the GPU listings from this leak are only from one particular vendor, we expect more to be unveiled just before the launch.
Best Buy is hosting nearly 10 cards from XFX, including the base and premium editions of both the RDNA 4 GPUs. There are a few Swift editions, Quicksilver editions, and the premium Mercury cards as well. The Swift editions are the base cards of the company, while the Quicksilver editions are factory-overclocked and the Mercury editions are offered for peak performance and aesthetics.
As you can see, XFX has priced the Swift models at their MSRP, but there is only a single edition of each card at their announced price tags. This includes the Swift Radeon RX 9070 OC edition at $549.99 and the Swift Radeon RX 9070 XT at $599. The former will come with slightly higher clocks, but the latter will ship with the stock base/boost clocks you will find on the reference card.

The next is the Swift edition in White for the Radeon RX 9070 OC, which is retailing for $100 higher than the black one. This is surprising because both supposedly boast the same design and clocks except for the color theme. Meanwhile, the QuickSilver Radeon RX 9070 OC is also retailing for $649 and its white edition for $669. This card has the same clocks as the Swift edition but has a slightly different design and cooling solution.
Going up from this price point, we can find various RX 9070 XT models and, unfortunately, XFX is asking for a hefty $749 price tag for the Swift RX 9070 XT White edition, which isn't even an OC model and just changes the shroud color from black to white. The price difference between this one and the regular black edition is almost $150, which is ridiculous and needs to come down to at least $649.

The more premium editions, such as the Mercury RX 9070 XT OC, are priced at $819 while both the black and white Magnetic Air editions cost $829 and $849 respectively. These price tags are significantly higher, and hopefully, they should come down after some time to offer a much better value.
