WoW: Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.2 Hotfix

Blizzard has rolled out World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth patch 8.2 on World of Warcraft’s Vendor CDN.

The new 29970 build was released on the vendor CDN this weekend, but since Blizzard has encrypted it, no further details about the build are currently available. The patch’s release on the CDN suggests that the new content update will arrive on the PTR soon.

Patch 8.1.5 ‘Crucible of Storms’ was released on World of Warcraft’s live servers last month after becoming available on the PTR back in January of this year. Patch 8.1 ‘Tides of Vengeance’ was released on the test server’s back in September of last year and was deployed on the live servers on December 12. Based on these timeframes, we can assume that patch 8.2 will likely be released on the live servers somewhere around June of this year.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is available globally now.
