WoW: Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara Releases Next Week on June 25th; Features Trailer Released

Blizzard has announced the release date for Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara and has released a new features trailer.

We already speculated on the release date of this new content update following its release on the PTR back in April of this year, and Blizzard has now confirmed the launch of the 8.2 patch on the live servers next week on June 25th. Blizzard announced the date through a new trailer alongside developer insights and a new features trailer – both of them have been included below:

Something sinister churns beneath the waves—the Queen of Tides’ return is imminent! Rise of Azshara, the next major Battle for Azeroth content update goes live June 26 and is packed with many new features, including:

  • Addition of Essences to the Heart of Azeroth system
  • Two new zones to explore, Nazjatar and Mechagon
  • Heritage Armor for Tauren and Gnomes
  • New Benthic gear
  • New raid that takes players into the depths of Azshara’s Eternal Palace, and much more.

Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara will be a major content update for Battle for Azeroth and will allow players to experience two new zones, a new dungeon and raid, an overhauled Azerite system and much more.
