ASUS has finally unleashed its first ROG STRIX LC GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card which makes use of an AIO cooling solution.
ASUS's GeForce RTX 4090 Now Equipped With ROG Liquid Cooling, 240mm AIO Design
Since launch, the ASUS GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards have been available in two variants, the ROG STRIX and the TUF Gaming. That changed this week with the introduction of the TUF OG and now, the first Liquid-cooled RTX 4090 variant, the ROG STRIX LC.
The ASUS GeForce RTX 4090 ROG STRIX LC graphics card features the same cooling solution & the same design as the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti ROG STRIX LC. The only difference between the two cards is the GPU they use. The manufacturer states that they are using the same pump, radiator, & fans too which they had used for the previous model to tame the GeForce RTX 4090.
The heatsink makes use of a full coverage cold plate that covers the AD102 GPU and the GDDR6X memory chips plus the blower-styled cooler keeps the VRM running stable.
ASUS's GeForce RTX 4090 ROG STRIX LC graphics card makes use of a 240mm AIO cooling solution with 560mm long tubing, a 2.6-slot design, and the radiator is equipped with two 12mm ARGB fans which deliver high airflow and static pressure for maximum performance while keeping the audible noise low. The entire unit has simple cable management that is well hidden which means you will not end up having to tidy them up yourselves. There are also two PWM headers that you could connect to the card.
The new ROG STRIX LC graphics cards will come in both factory overclocked and standard variants. The standard model runs at 2520 MHz (Default) and 2550 MHz (OC) boost clocks while the OC 4090 runs at 2610 MHz (Default) and 2640 MHz (OC) boost clocks. There's no information regarding the pricing or availability yet but the ROG STRIX 4090 OC costs $2000 US so the liquid-cooled variant is expected to hit shelves at a much higher premium.
