ASRock Adds 16 GB Intel Arc A770 Phantom Gaming GPU To Its Lineup 1

ASRock has silently introduced its brand new and first 16 GB variant of the Intel Arc A770 GPU in the Phantom Gaming flavor.

ASRock Intel Arc A770 Phantom Gaming 16 GB Offers Triple-Fan Configuration, Higher Clock Speeds & Great Aesthetics

Intel's Arc A770 16GB Limited Edition has parted ways with the GPU industry; however, for Arc enthusiasts, ASRock has launched a new Arc A770 16 GB variant that looks stunning. This makes ASRock the third Intel AIB partner to offer a 16 GB variant with the other two being ACER and GUNNIR. The ASRock Intel Arc A770 Phantom Gaming 16 GB GPU is the newest entrant in the lineup, and the company didn't disclose the release officially. However, the card was spotted on a listing at Newegg.

The ASRock Intel Arc A770 Phantom Gaming 16 GB operates at up to 2200 MHz, which is a bump of 100 MHz from Intel's reference variant. The Newegg listing reveals that the GPU will have two 8-pin power connectors similar to other variants in the lineup. Generally, the "Phantom Gaming" Arc lineups are one of the best, offering great thermals and bumped-up performance. Moreover, they are also one of the "decorated" ones regarding onboard RGB options.

ASRock's Intel Arc A770 Phantom gaming 16 GB GPU is up for sale at $329.99, a bit cheaper than the discounted Intel LE variant (discontinued). The Acer Predator BiFrost is retailing at $399 currently on the platform; however, just a week ago, the card dropped to $281; hence we could expect the ASRock variant to get discounted to a similar price bracket soon.

In terms of raw performance, the Intel Arc A770 is a strong competitor to NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4060 & AMD Radeon RX 7600, especially at higher resolutions. At current pricing, the Arc A770 isn't a viable choice, but the models do go on sale very often; hence if you see something under $290, it would be a great option.
