One of the significant changes coming with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is the new display that can reach brightness levels of up to 3,000 nits. The Series 9, on the other hand, can go as high as 2,000 nits. Despite various upgrades, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 starts at the same $799 price tag. Ahead of its official launch on September 22, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is seeing a 6 to 7-week delay for some configurations (via MacRumors).

According to the publication, Apple's online store in the U.S. shows Apple Watch Ultra 2 models with an Alpine band in blue in Medium and Large sizes with a 2 to 3-week shipping delay for orders placed on Wednesday. Furthermore, the Apple Watch Series 2 with a Trail Loop in Orange and Beige color option for Small/Medium and Medium/Large are seeing up to 6 to 7 weeks of delay. Other than these bands, Apple's online store shows a plethora of bands with delivery set for September 22.
