AMD's Ryzen 7 5800X3D, the first 3D V-Cache CPU, is now out of stock and not available in various EU regions after seeing a major price hike.
AMD Ryzen 5800X3D 3D V-Cache CPU is no longer available in some EU regions but Ryzen 7 5700X3D is still available at good prices
The first Ryzen X3D CPU from AMD is getting discontinued, at least in some parts of the world. This could soon follow in most parts of the world as the processor has been seeing a sharp rise in price in several retailers. At the moment, the processor has completely disappeared in a few EU regions.
As reported by 3DCenter, the processor is only available via one retailer at a whopping €878, which is more than twice the price it was retailing for a few months back. Ryzen 5800X3D cannot be found on any retailer in Germany or Austria and already had poor availability a few days ago along with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

Both the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D and 7800X3D are seeing a sharp surge in prices worldwide and it was expected that the availability and pricing will worsen as AMD prepares its Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs. But it was too soon for the 5800X3D to completely disappear from the German and Austrian market and the processor is selling for an incredibly high price in NA and EU at the moment.
Nonetheless, users who own an AM4 motherboard and are looking to upgrade to the fastest X3D CPU can opt for the Ryzen 7 5700X3D, which offers Ryzen 7600-equivalent performance in gaming. It's available for a much cheaper price compared to its launch day and is one of our top picks for the best budget gaming CPUs.
The Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU was AMD's first X3D chip with 3D V-Cache technology, bringing an additional 64 MB L3 cache to improve gaming performance. Being the fastest in the whole Zen 3 lineup, it gave AM4 users an excellent option to upgrade, and while AMD and Intel were both releasing newer-gen CPUs, the 5800X3D kept going strong despite using the older Zen 3 architecture and AM4 platform.

The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D is an 8-core/16-thread CPU, which uses an L3 cache stack on top of its cores to provide a significant boost in gaming performance. Due to its design, it featured lower clock speeds than the Ryzen 7 5800X. Compared to 3.8/4.7GHz of base/boost on 5800X, the Ryzen 5800X3D brought 3.4/4.5GHz clocks but was significantly more power-efficient despite featuring the same 105W TDP.
Unfortunately, with time the CPU has to go but Ryzen 5700X3D is a great alternative to it for just $200 and provides the same core/thread configuration. AMD is about to launch its first Zen 5-based Ryzen 9000X3D processor as well, which is expected to be the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, reportedly launching in early November. It is expected to be costlier than the launch price of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D but can run at 5.2 GHz on all cores.
