This is great news, Apple has announced that Amazon Prime Video is coming to Apple TV later this year.

Amazon Prime Video for Apple TV (tvOS) Has Been Announced

During its opening keynote, Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced that Amazon Prime Video is coming to the Apple TV. Interestingly, not much detail was shared other than that. But those who were holding back from switching to Apple TV just because of that reason, you may now jump ship with complete confidence that your favorite video streaming service will be on Cupertino's platform.
