Users who seek budget-friendly options and mid-range products are more focused on the Galaxy Watch FE as an affordable wearable with premium-like features. Many leaks have emerged regarding the possible release time frame, but the latest listing gave some key details regarding the FE variant.
Samsung Galaxy Watch FE variant is confirmed and expected to be rolled out before the Galaxy Unpacked 2024
According to the latest leak, Samsung's upcoming budget smartwatch could launch before the Unpacked event on July 24. In a recent spotting by YTechB via GSMArena, an Amazon listing in Italy for the Galaxy Watch FE showed us the affordable variant's release date and price.
Arsene Lupin, a tipster, claimed the budget watch would most likely come on June 24th, two weeks before the much-hyped Galaxy Unpacked 2024, and the listing also mentioned the same date for shipping. Samsung might have intended for the FE version to come before the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 7 Ultra so that the limelight could not be taken away by the Ultra model, which is currently grabbing eyeballs to mirror the Apple Watch Ultra.
Although the full listing did not contain any images, the device's title mentioned the color. The list spelled out 'Samsung Galaxy Watch FE(40mm) BT Pink Gold,' and the description included significant information regarding the device's weight and dimensions, which were 26.6g and 40x10x39mm, respectively.
The colors listed on Amazon for the FE smartwatch are Black, Silver, and Pink Gold, and the wearable is said to cost around €199, confirming the previous speculation regarding the price. The US pricing will either be the same or lower than the given price, which could make the 40mm variant quite reasonable. The Galaxy Watch 6, on the other hand, costs a bit less and is priced at €189.
We are not sure how Samsung intends to position the budget-friendly watch, given that the price of the Watch 6 is more affordable than the one marketed as pocket-friendly. As a result, the company might end up in a state of self-competition. Regardless of the company's strategy to avoid a possibly confusing situation, the upcoming smartwatch is said to follow Galaxy Watch 4's format in terms of the design, chipset, and even battery life.
