Acer's Predator X49 X QD-OLED Comes Out Of The "Media" Shadow, Will Feature a 48.9-Inch 240Hz Display

Acer teased its high-end gaming monitor in December 2023, but we didn't see any official announcement from the firm. However, despite being in the shadows for a while now, the monitor has finally seen the spotlight from media outlets. The initial specifications of the Predator X49 X reveal that competitors in this segment will witness a tough battle, courtesy of Acer's magic and the cutting-edge specifications the monitor will come with.

The Acer Predator X49 X will reportedly feature a gigantic 48.9-inch QD-OLED display with an ultrawide resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels and a curvature rate of 1800R. Hence, the monitor is a monster when it comes to ultra-wide displays. Regarding gaming-oriented features, the Predator X49 X comes with a 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time, providing the best to gamers.

In terms of connectivity and other perks, the Predator X49 X features two 5W speakers for optimal sound output and several ergonomic perks that have yet to be disclosed. Moreover, for connectivity, you will get 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x DisplayPort 1.4, along with two USB Type-A and a dedicated USB Type-C port with 90W power delivery. The monitor is jam-packed in this department, and connectivity won't be an issue with the Predator X49 X.

There is no word on the monitor's pricing or release date, but since it was teased quite a while ago, we could expect the Predator X49 X to hit the market soon. However, nothing is confirmed yet.
