Many major developers and publishers have already announced their video games that will launch in 2014 and 2015, but now E3 2014 is the place where we will get more to learn about the upcoming games. And this is not all, there are tons of video game announcements coming at E3 2014 that we knowing nothing of. The publishers will also showcase their never-before-seen upcoming video game titles.

We have organized a list of the 10 most anticipated and highly awaited video game titles that will appear at E3 2014. Destiny ranks among top upcoming most highly anticipated next-gen video games. Not only it is a game developed by Bungie, the creator of a multi-billion dollar video game franchise called Halo, but its budget has already touched $500 million mark, this makes Destiny most expensive video game ever created, with a budget that is more than any Hollywood movie have used until now.

Bungie has already released several gameplay videos and screenshots of this massively online multiplayer action role-playing first-person shooter video game. Destiny appears similar to Microsoft exclusive Halo video games but according to the developer, this game holds more life. With a mixed single and multiplayer experience, dynamic in-game world and complex character creation, Destiny will surely appeal the eyes of millions of gamers at the E3 2014 show.

Halo 5: Guardians

Halo 5: Guardians was first teased by Microsoft during its E3 2013 press conference. The game was not named by that time and only a short trailer showing Master Chief walking through the desert was shared. Now we know that the sixth major installment in the multi-billion dollar first-person shooter sci-fi video game franchise is called Halo 5: Guardians and it is coming next year.

Microsoft has kept the knots tight and details about the game are very scarce. The title of he game itself was just announced last month. Some known information is that Halo 5: Guardians is not hitting the market anytime before 2015 and that the game will feature the series protagonist and lead character known as Master Chief. Of course the game is an Xbox One exclusive title and this title is going to be bigger than the previous games in the series, so it is very important for Halo fans to keep an out for Halo 5: Guardians at E3 2014.

Project Beast

Project Beast is one of the least disclosed E3 2014 titles, but from what rumors and leaks have been telling us, it looks like this title is going make the biggest fuss during the upcoming show. It is currently being developed by Form Software, the studio responsible for obsessively difficult and unforgiving titles such as Dark Souls, in collaboration with Sony Computer Entertainment.

last month an alleged leaked footage of Project Beast emerged on the internet showing a caped protagonist fighting intimidating monsters. The game seems as dark and dreary as the other games in the Souls series. Form Software's Dark Souls 2 is one of the most critically acclaimed video games that released recently and from what we have heard, it seems like Project Beast will be the next game in the series.

Mortal Kombat X

Netherrealm Studios didn't take much time in announcing Mortal Kombat X with a thrilling trailer after the details of the game were accidentally leaked on Amazon UK. Being the tenth Mortal Kombat title in the series, Mortal Kombat X is said to feature all the perks and blood that a fighting game should have. The game is a cross-gen title and will arrive next year.

Mortal Kombat X will feature an all new storyline "showcasing some of the game's most prolific characters including Scorpion and Sub-Zero." The game will also introduce new fighters that represent the forces of good and evil. The game was originally planned for an E3 reveal but now that we already know of its existence, we can expect gameplay footage and more information on the game at E3.

Batman: Arkham Knight

Being developed by Rocksteady, the studio responsible for most critically acclaimed Batman games called Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, Batman Arkam Knight is a direct sequel to the Arkham City. Featuring the superhero at the peak of his abilities, the game will go through the story that is somewhat based on the villain Scarecrow and Arkham Knight's unmatched ruthless rule over the crimes' paradise.

Rocksteady took the liberty of adding a drivable Batmobile to the game which will feature an explorable Gotham five times the size of the Arkham City's prison environment. The game introduces several new gadgets and takedown styles. Best for its play type, the game will not feature a multiplayer mode. New details and gameplay footage of the game is expected to be released at E3 2014.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been confirmed as the eleventh installment in the highest selling first-person shooter video game series. The next-gen version of the game is being developed by Sledgehammer Games, the studio best known for its contribution in the development of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, while High Moon Studios is handling the game's development for last-gen consoles.

Set in the advanced futuristic word of 2054, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's storyline is based on a private military corporation that has turned on the government of the United States. The game stars Kevin Spacey as Jonathan Irons, CEO of the rebel private military corporation known as Atlas. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will allow players to use advanced weaponry and warfare equipments. The game can be expected first on Microsoft's Xbox One platform at E3 2014.

Battlefield Hardline

The typical rival of the aforementioned FPS game, Battlefield Hardline first came into the light through leaks and rumors like all other major video games. Following the leaked listing on the series' website, EA, publisher of the game, announced Battlefield Hardline. The game is said to be something completely different than previous wartime first-person shooter games in the series.

Featuring urban crime fights, the game will go through a storyline that is apparently based on cops and robbers. The episodic single player campaign is being developed by Viscreal Games and DICE is in charge of developing the online multiplayer of the game. EA will surely reveal more information about Battlefield Hardline at its E3 2014 press conference on June 9.

Super Smash Bros.

Super Smash Bros. is the fourth installment in Nintendo's most popular video game series that goes back to the original Nintendo 64 and Gamecube. The game will feature an ample number of characters that the players will be able to fight with in Nintendo's long-praised universes. The game will be released for both Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS handheld console but players won't be able to fight each other across platforms.

Nintendo is planning to make a big splash with Super Smash Bros. at its upcoming E3 2014 press conference. The company has set up a 16-person tournament where best players from around the world will compete among each other in the new title in front of the crowd, also, you will be able to stream the event live on Twitch.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Being right on the paper with Elder Scrolls titles, The Witcher series is greatly backed up by the fans of western RPGs. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the upcoming game in the CD Projekt Red's fantasy action role-playing video game series. The game is boasted to be much larger than any previous Witcher game, featuring highly detailed and visually stunning in-game world that, according to the developer, was difficult for last-gen consoles to render.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was announced for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Talking about bringing the game to Linux, the developer said that it would only be possible if SteamOS, a Debian Linux kernel-based operating system by Valve Corporation, provides constant Linux environment in future. Now recently, the game was announced for SteamOS too. E3 2014 will surely bring some good content for The Witcher 3 fans.

Tom Clancy's The Division

This is a busy year for Ubisoft, the developer just released its most anticipated open-world hacking video game Watch Dogs, and it has to manage a few more upcoming AAA games, one of which is a third-person tactical shooter called Tom Clancy's The Division. First revealed during E3 2013 with an actual gameplay demo, the game was expected to arrive later this year but it has been delayed until 2015.

Ubisoft promises that, just like all other AAA next-gen video game titles, The Division will have all the graphical and visual details that a next-gen game should have. The game will allow players to fight AI and human opponents with tech-equipped government security outfit and advanced weaponry. A long gameplay demo of the game is expected at Ubisoft' E3 2014 press conference so stay tuned and don't miss out anything.
