A new edition of the successful The Witcher 3, called The Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition, has been confirmed by CD Projekt Red last week following some German ratings. Not much has been said about a possible release date for the complete edition of the game, but it seems like it will be released in a little over a month on all formats and in all regions.

A few online retailers have started listing The Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition with an August 30th release date, which seems to be a more than likely release date, since it’s a Tuesday. As CDPR has yet to confirm this release date, despite a few retailers revealing it on their websites, we must take it with a grain of salt until an official announcement comes in.

While there are still doubts about The Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition’s release date, there are none on its content. This new edition of the popular role playing game by CD Projekt Red will include the base game as well as the two DLC expansions released in the past few months, Hearts of Stone and the bigger Blood and Wine. As the base game also received several improvements following its release, including a redesigned menu system and more, this The Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition can indeed be considered as an enhanced edition.

The Witcher 3 is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We will let you know more about the final release date for the Game of the Year edition as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
