The PlayStation VR is one of the 2016 VR headsets, but it's definitely the more unique one, as it will work exclusively with the PlayStation 4, at least in the beginning. Plenty of titles are currently in the works, and two of these games have been showcased in some recent new videos.

The two PlayStation VR titles showcased in the new Japanese videos are Summer Lesson, currently in development by Bandai Namco, and The Deep, which is one of the oldest PSVR projects that has been originally shown back when the PlayStation VR was only known as Project Morpheus. The PlayStation VR will be released sometime this October in all regions for the price of $ 399, €399, £349 and 44,980 yen, as announced by Sony a few months ago during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. The headset was supposed to be released sooner that October, but it's been confirmed by Andrew House that the company decided to release the headset in October to make sure they are able to prepare and deliver enough units and a wide variety of software.

“Ever since we unveiled PS VR during the 2014 Game Developers Conference, we’ve received a tremendous response from gamers and developers alike. “To make sure that we are able to prepare and deliver enough units of PS VR and a wide variety of software titles to consumers worldwide, we have decided to launch PS VR in October 2016. For those who are looking forward to its launch, we would like to thank everyone for their patience and continued support. We are beyond excited to deliver to consumers the amazing experience that PS VR offers.”

The PlayStation VR will be released this October in all regions. We will let you know precisely when the headset will become available for purchase as soon as more comes in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
