Apple promised during its keynote in September that iPad Pro will start selling sometime in November. However, the company didn’t care to specify any exact date. A recent rumor suggests that the first ever iPad Pro will start shipping in the very first week of November.

iPad Pro starts selling first week of November:

Apple’s official page for iPad Pro still suggests ‘Available November,’ but a report from Japanese tech blog Macotakara claims that the 12.9-inch tablet will go on sale during the first week of November. Citing “reliable” sources with knowledge of Apple’s Chinese supply chain, blog claims that we won’t have to wait longer for the new tablet to arrive with all its accompanying accessories.

It is very likely for Apple to start selling the new iPad much ahead of the holidays. However, Apple’s suppliers hardly know about company’s retail schedule as they are only given deadlines for the components they are responsible for. Like with all these rumors, we cannot confirm this claim of iPad Pro going on sale in the first week, and so have to take this with some salt too.

Apple announced some new accessories with the debut of iPad Pro. These include an Apple Pencil which is a pressure sensitive stylus working with the tablet’s display to determine the tilt and pressure, giving users different results. Apple Pencil won’t be compatible with any other Apple devices as it is created for the use with the iPad Pro alone. Getting benefit of the larger real estate, an advanced stylus would help designers in getting natural drawing motions and has already received a thumbs-up from Pixar.

Apart from the Pencil, Apple also talked about a Smart Keyboard for the tablet with support for iOS 9 shortcuts. Apple’s Smart Keyboard will be sold for $169, while the Pencil will cost you an additional $99.

As for the tablet itself, Apple’s iPad Pro starts selling at $799 for the base 32GB WiFi model and at $949 for the 128GB WiFi model. The 128GB model with cellular connectivity will go on sale for $1,079. Interested in knowing more about the upcoming tablet?
