Helldivers PC Gets Release Date, Trailer And System Requirements

Arrowhead (the creators of Magicka) shared plenty of details regarding Helldivers PC, which will be available on Steam starting from December 7 for a price of $/€ 19.99.

Helldivers first released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita; in case you're not familiar with it, the game is a cooperative twin stick shooter where players band together in order to defeat the enemies of mankind, liberating one planet at a time. Of course, being a game developed by Arrowhead, friendly fire is fully enabled. Here's a recap of the main features:

  • Includes Masters Of The Galaxy, Turning Up The Heat and Democracy Strikes Back expansions.
  • Up to 4 player local and online co-op multiplayer on STEAM.
  • Full friendly fire - “accidentally” kill your friends, again.
  • Rise through the ranks and call in devastating military support
  • Community-driven galactic campaign.
  • Non-linear mission structure.
  • Procedurally generated levels - the universe is a large place.
  • 100+ hours of gameplay

There's more, such as a pre-order trailer and system requirements for Helldivers PC, though I seriously doubt that anyone who bought a gaming PC in the last five years will have troubles running the game.

  • OS: Windows Vista / Windows 7
  • Processor: 2.4GHz Dual Core
