Xiaomi 14 Series Global Pricing Further Solidifies the Trend of Smartphones Getting More Expensive

Xiaomi is one of the few smartphone manufacturers who believe in delivering phones without compromise, which is why its Ultra smartphones normally get a separate release. The Xiaomi 14 series was released earlier this year, and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was missing from the lineup because the company will be releasing the phone next year today, we have some more information on the phone's camera system, showing that the phone is going to be incredibly powerful in terms of camera prowess.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will deliver a 50-megapixel quad-camera setup for unrivaled photography experience

Based on information from a reliable tipster, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will deliver an unparalleled camera experience. This makes sense as the company has a habit of saving the best for the last, and this is not changing this time around.

Looking at the information above, it is safe to say that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a 50-megapixel quad-camera configuration. The biggest change here will be a variable aperture on the primary camera that goes from f/1.6 to f/4.0. The feature is already available on the Pro variant, and it is nice to see it returning again. In addition to that, the native focal lengths of the phone are going to be 0.5x, 1x, 3.2x, and 5x, leaving you with plenty of options.

Aside from the ridiculously decked-out camera system, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is more or less a mystery. We do know that the phone will deliver top-of-the-line specs, and in addition to that, you can also expect the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood, so it is definitely something that will deliver top-tier performance. The phone will be released next year. However, we are unsure if it will be released in international markets as Xiaomi normally keeps the Ultra phones limited to the domestic market. Hopefully, this changes next year.
