Xbox and Bethesda will be present at the Gamescom 2023 show floor, the Gamescom organization has confirmed.
The joyful news was announced via Twitter just now. More details about the presence of Microsoft and Bethesda at this year's Gamescom event will be shared soon. Earlier this year, it was confirmed that, after being absent last year, Nintendo will also return to Gamescom this year. "Without giving away too much, I promise that the community can look forward to one or the other major company that was not present last year", the Gamescom organization teased earlier this year, thereby hinting at Nintendo.
Although both Nintendo and Gamescom will make their appearance at the gaming event, Sony seemingly won't be present in Germany next month. "A company spokesperson confirmed to GamesMarkt that they currently have no plans to exhibit in the business and public area of the fair this year", German outlet Gamesmarkt claimed last month. Sony has yet to officially confirm that it won't attend the event, but looking at previous years, it's likely that we won't be seeing PlayStation on the show floor.
As mentioned by the Gamescom organization, the full list of exhibitors for Gamescom 2023 "will be available in good time before the event."
Gamescom 2023 is taking place in Cologne, Germany from August 23 through August 27. Tickets for the annual gaming event in Germany can be purchased here.
