The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Tons of New Info Shared Via Twitter
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been getting immense amounts of attention over the last days, and with its release drawing nearer, anticipation among fans of the franchise grows even larger. Senior Game Designer, Damien Monnier, answered a lot of questions from fans on Twitter, revealing many more details for The Witcher 3.
A fan asked whether Andrzej Sapkowski, who was the original author, had any involvement in The Witcher 3, to which Monnier replied:
@FarbodSchariat He was involved at the beginning but since W3 is set after the books our writers took over.

The Tattoo found in The Witcher 2 can be transferred to The Witcher 3 with PC Saves

Monnier was asked to share his thought on Dark Souls combat system, and whether it would work with the Witcher, to which he responded that combat in the Witcher is similar and that Dark Souls has been a big influence.

He then goes on to explain that the game will be divided into acts and that quests will span between them.
@robertus54 we have acts,we don't specifically show which one you're in (just internal use for writers) & yes quests will spam between them.

The free DLC that will be available for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will not be small at all and will feature quests.

Monnier was asked to share the hardest technological challenge in the development of Witcher 3, to which he revealed that it was the amount of different NPCs being displayed on-screen.
@micha probably the amount of unique npcs being displayed on screen, all doing there own thing. That's a lot of thinking power.

The armor sets in the Witcher 3 feature multiple tiers.
@charliezockt sets are, for the lack of better word, set. However they come in tiers. The 3 best armors in the game have 5 tiers each.

Monnier goes on to reveal that Geralt's hair can also be customised.

Players will be able to use signs on horseback sa well.

There will be some fighting while on the boat, which is also destructible.

Monnier then states that the January build that we saw in the demonstration is old and certain aspects have been improved.

When a fan asks whether it's better to play on a PC meeting the minimum requirements or on the Xbox One, he responds that he would choose the PC regardless of the settings , just for the higher resolution alone.

A fan asks when can we expect some information on Cyberpunk, for which CD Projekt have already mentioned that it won't be making an appearance at E3 2015, as they plan to focus on the Witcher 3 for the year. He replies:
