Wccftech Is Now Featured On OpenCritic

Alessio Palumbo

Dear readers, today we are proud to announce that Wccftech has been selected by and added to OpenCritic's list of trusted publications.

OpenCritic is a brand new review aggregator for games which intends to build upon transparency from the very beginning of its existence. For example, they have just added the first review embargo times for Halo 5: Guardians and Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

This is yet another step that demonstrates how serious Wccftech really is in terms of gaming coverage. We have significantly increased the original content output in the last months with reviews and interviews, while also trying to set up giveaways for our readers. You can expect even more of all this in the coming future.

Wccftech is here to stay, with the intention to bring you a complete coverage for both gaming and technology every day. Please stay tuned, we'll have a lot of fun together!

About the author: With over two decades of experience in gaming journalism, Alessio Palumbo has led the gaming vertical at Wccftech since August 2015. He started working at a young age for Italian websites like Everyeye.it, Gamestar.it, Nextgame.it, and Multiplayer.it before kickstarting the indie English-language publication Worlds Factory as its founder and Editor in Chief. In the last decade, he has coordinated the overall output of Wccftech's gaming section, managed PR relations, assigned reviews, produced daily news coverage, edited gaming content as needed, and delivered game reviews. Arguably, his trademark content is the long series of exclusive developer interviews that have been cited by Wikipedia and by the biggest news media and gaming publications. His passion for technology also makes him knowledgeable when it comes to gaming hardware and tech. His favorite genres include RPGs, MMORPGs, and action/adventure games.
