Quake 2 Now Fully Ray Traced, RTX/ON?

Q2VKPT isn’t the latest acronym concocted by the Millennial Generation, as one might surmise upon reading it at first. It is instead an interesting graphics research project whose goal is to create the first entirely raytraced game with fully dynamic real-time lighting, based on the Quake II engine Q2PRO. Rasterization is used only for the 2D user interface (UI).
