Apple’s $599 starting price for the M4 Mac mini was the cherry on top because potential buyers not only have access to a powerful chipset with a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, but it features double the unified RAM at 16GB, along with 256GB of storage. To make matters even better, Amazon has introduced a small discount for both the base and 512GB models of the redesigned Mac mini, slashing up to $30 for the two compact computers.
In short, the $599 starting price has been reduced to $579, with the 512GB version, which was previously listed on the online retailer for $799, can be yours for $769. If you want our suggestion, we recommend getting the 512GB option because twice the internal storage gives you a ton of freedom when installing more programs and games. Unfortunately, if you are looking for a more powerful Mac mini, the other configurations are yet to be discounted on Amazon.
What that means is that the M4 Mac mini with 24GB unified RAM and 512GB storage continues to be listed for $999, while the M4 Pro variant with the same memory and storage count is available for $1,399. Keep in mind that both components cannot be upgraded, so you will have to make do with what you have. The only other option to increase your storage without blowing a hole through your wallet is investing in a portable SSD, which was discussed previously, and Amazon has a ton of 2TB options available.
All M4 Mac mini models are scheduled to be released on November 8, so even if you place an order right now, you can receive it in a couple of days. We cannot confirm if these machines will remain discounted after their official release launch date, so it is best to pounce of these discounts immediately, no matter how small they might be.
