Threads is Finally Getting a Website Later This Week, Will Help the Platform Maintain User Adoption and Long Term Monetization Opportunities

It's more than safe to say that Threads is absolutely taking off, with the app gaining over 100 million users in just five days. Sure, the new social media platform is not available all over the world at the time, but that is not stopping people from joining the platform and sharing their thoughts or, as the cool kids are saying, "threading." I am sure this is going to be an official term in no time.

It has only been five days, and Threads is already gearing up for a lot of amazing features

It is also worth noting that Threads is still in its infancy, which means that many features will head to the app in due time. If you are on Android, you are in luck because the app's beta program is now live on Google Play Store. This means that you can go ahead and enroll in it, and this also means that you can enjoy all the latest features that the platform will be getting.

Before you enroll in the beta, however, it is worth noting that the app could run into instabilities and some other behaviors that you may not be able to explain right away, but then again, it will not be a completely broken experience, and you would still be able to use the app without any issues, for the most part.

As far as the features that are coming to Threads, you can expect a feature that will let you access feed which will only show the account you follow. You can also delete your account without deleting your Instagram account. There are features in work, such as the ability to search and edit posts. You will also have translations, hashtags, and multiple accounts.

Needless to say, considering how these features are currently in the works, we can see Threads becoming a full-fledged social media platform. While these features are still unavailable, it is good to know that the company is actively working on these, and we will be sure to keep you posted as these features are headed to the app. Until then, enroll in the beta program and stay tuned.
