The Last of Us Part I PC launched on March 28th, around six months after the release of the PlayStation 5 version. It is based on the remade version of Naughty Dog's original masterpiece from 2013, which greatly improved graphics, animations, and AI compared to the first The Last of Us version.

However, the PC version launched with several technical issues for low and mid-range configurations. Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy have issued several patches to improve the situation in the following weeks. Modder PureDark has also created a DLSS 3 mod for The Last of Us Part I PC; stay tuned on Wccftech for a test of that mod.

Meanwhile, the modding community is working on interesting projects such as a first-person mod and unlocking the debug menu, which allows users to tweak a lot of new options.
