The Japanese system integrator brings the 80-class card onboard, equipping it with a high-performance AIO cooling solution and Noctua fans.

SyCom Unveils RTX 5080 Hydro LC With a Triple Fan Cooler Connected to a 240mm Radiator with Noctua Fans Installed

Once again, SyCom, which is known for custom high-performance GPU cooling solutions, is back with another RTX 50 series card. The Japanese system integrator introduced the Silent Master series 60 and 70-class GeForce RTX 50 GPUs last month but has now added the GeForce RTX 5080 to its inventory as well. Unlike the other slower RTX 50 cards, the SyCom GeForce RTX 5080 Hydro LC is based on hybrid cooling, featuring both PCB cooler and a dedicated AIO-cooler (SyCom RTX 5070 Ti Hydro LC is also available).

The RTX 5080 Hydro LC uses a triple fan cooler on the PCB, which is directly connected to a 240mm radiator. The 240mm radiator uses the brown Noctua high airflow NF-A12x25 ULN fans to cool down the GPU. These operate at a fixed 1200 RPM but still deliver 55.7 CFM of airflow. Unlike traditional GPU coolers, this hybrid cooling is far more effective in quicker heat dissipation and for longevity but does add up a significant cost.

As per the specifications, the RTX 5080 Hydro LC can achieve a much higher average clock speed compared to the regular RTX 5080 GPUs. As per SyCom, the RTX 5080 Hydro LC can maintain a steady 2,820 MHz of clock speed at full load, which is about 7% higher than the 2,620 MHz of boost clock on the Founders Edition. The Hydro LC GPU is still able to maintain a much lower temperature of just 64.9 degrees Celcius while also being silent in operation.

Keep in mind that the GeForce RTX 5080 Hydro LC cannot be purchased independently just like other SyCom custom RTX 50 series GPUs. Since SyCom is a system integrator, both the Hydro LC and the Silent Master series are only available through its pre-built computers. The price of the cheapest computer starts at 440,240 Yen, including tax, which translates to just over US$3,000. Users can choose between the latest AMD and Intel platform, which will include AIO cooling for both GPU and CPU.
