A new Super Smash Bros Ultimate update is going to be released later this week in all regions, introducing changes to the game.

The next update, update 3.1.0, has been confirmed by the Nintendo Versus Twitter profile. There is no news on possible new content, but we do know that some balance changes will be in, as it is suggested that players convert replays into videos, as old replays won't be compatible with the new update.

Ver 3.1.0 of Super #SmashBrosUltimate is coming this week! This update will include fighter adjustments, meaning replay data from previous versions will be incompatible. Convert your replays by going to Vault -> Replays -> Replay Data -> Convert to Video, before updating.

The previous Super Smash Bros Ultimate update was the big 3.0.0 update, which introduced support for DLC character Joker from Persona 5, new content as well as balance changes for all available characters.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate has been released last year in all regions. The game is not only one of the best entries in the series but also one of the best Nintendo Switch games ever released.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is definitely the Ultimate rendition of a beloved series. It's still the most accessible and interesting fighting game out there, and it's now better than ever. A little familiar in places, but this is the best Smash has ever been. Another essential Nintendo Switch game.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is now available on Nintendo Switch in all regions.
