Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is still set for a May release, but the next game by Rocksteady is reportedly releasing later than announced. The delay is apparently a done deal, but it has yet to be announced due to a specific reason.
Speaking on Twitter, Bloomber's Jason Schreier revealed that the game's delay has yet to be announced because there is still no new release date. Staff were told a few weeks back that the game is launching later in 2023, but there's now the possibility of the game slipping into 2024. Even with a longer delay, the core game isn't changing so it will be interesting to learn how Rocksteady will address the criticism, which was mostly aimed at the generic gameplay and the live service elements.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is not new to delays, as the game by Rocksteady was originally meant to release back in 2022. The game was then announced for a May 26th release on PC and current-generation consoles, but the reception of the game's very first gameplay video reportedly caused Warner Bros. Games and Rocksteady to change their plans and delay the game once again.
It is a shame that gameplay looks so generic, as Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League's premise and story seem to be spot on and by far the most interesting aspect of the game. Controlling members of the Suicide Squad, players will have to save the world from Brainiac, who has invaded the Earth and brainwashed its inhabitants, including members of the Justice League like Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Batman.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is still scheduled for a May 26th, 2023 release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. We will keep you updated on the rumored delay as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
