Star Conflict Update 1.2 Introduces ‘Dogs of War’
The MMO space simulator Star Conflict is getting updated to 1.2 today. This update adds a lot of different mercenary focused content and is being called ‘Dogs of War’.
Star Conflict adds more offensive and defensive capabilities for the rogue player in everyone.
Star Conflict usually only allows the larger conflicts to happen between opposing factions and corporations. With update 1.2, you won’t have to be a part of any organization to get in on the fun. The Dogs of War patch lets everyone join Dreadnought battles that allow for the control over entire sectors directly.
To help those aspiring mercenaries make ends meet (or meat), a new mode called Defense Contract has been added that lets you earn some hard won money protecting various locations. To help you with that, six new spacecraft have been added with different customizable offensive and defensive capabilities. You can apparently tailor your ship to your play style.
Two new locations are also making it into Dogs of War; Monolith Ruins, a desolate former shrine of the Jericho faction, and Sanctuary, a place that’s in orbit around a heavily conflicted planet.
Star Conflict is an action-packed, massively multiplayer space simulation game that puts players in the roles of elite pilots engaging in a widespread interplanetary skirmish. The game includes a wide variety of battleships, from light and fast interceptors to powerful fighters and well-defended frigates.
