Just yesterday, Square Enix filed a new trademark for a game called Outriders through the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office).

Chances are the title will be unveiled during the company's E3 2018 Showcase event, scheduled to take place on Monday, June 11th at 10 AM Pacific Time. The company is expected to have lots of titles to demonstrate, from games due this year like Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Kingdom Hearts III to The Avengers game in development at Crystal Dynamics, not to mention Left Alive (of which we know very little so far) and the upcoming DLC episodes due in 2019 for Final Fantasy XV.

Obviously, fans would also like to see Life is Strange 2 and Final Fantasy VII remake. However, Outriders could be one of the surprises. If we were to guess, this could be the new AAA shooter for PC and consoles announced ahead of E3 2017 by Square Enix and Polish studio People Can Fly (Painkiller, Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, Fortnite). Just recently, People Can Fly opened two new offices in Newcastle, United Kingdom, and Rzeszów, Poland, growing to over 150 employees in total.

Do you have any guess as to what kind of setting Outriders could have? Tell us below.
