More custom GPUs appear on Amazon, including both AMD's Radeon RX 9070 and the XT version, revealing the prices and specifications of the SKUs.

XFX Mercury, Quicksilver, and Swift Radeon RX 9070 Series Spotted on Amazon, Revealing Expected Pricing As Well

Just a few hours ago, we reported the first listing of one of the custom Radeon RX 9070 XT GPUs. Apparently, there are more from a single vendor, as far as we can see. XFX, a board partner of AMD, has listed various models of both Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 GPUs on Amazon, revealing the core specs and early prices.

While these prices are subject to change, they align with some recent listings on other retailers. As far as the cheap GPUs go, the XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 OC Triple Fan Gaming edition is the cheapest one, listed at $649.99. Then we have four other models of the RX 9070 XT from XFX in series like Swift, QuickSilver, and Mercury, as follows:

  1. XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 OC Triple Fan Gaming: $649.99
  2. XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070 XT Triple Fan Gaming: $749.99
  3. XFX Quicksilver Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming: $769.99
  4. XFX Mercury Radeon RX 9070 XT OC Gaming: $819.99
  5. XFX Mercury Radeon RX 9070 OC Magnetic Air Edition with RGB: $849.99

These listings indicate that the Radeon RX 9070 series may not be entirely as affordable as previously expected. The base model of the RX 9070 XT starts at $749, which is the MSRP of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Founders Edition. Then, we have GPUs going up to $849 for the premium models. This indicates that AMD is probably going to price the RX 9070 XT at $699, which has also been revealed in one of the recent leaks.

Still, keep in mind that this is just our speculation, but unlike we previously thought, AMD might be adding $100 on top of the speculated MSRP. The RX 9070 is supposedly going against the RTX 5070, which costs $549 for the FE. Here, the RX 9070 from XFX starts at $649, but it's an OC edition, which means the reference design may cost around $599. If this is the actual price of AMD's reference RX 9070, it must be noticeably faster than the RTX 5070 or its DOA.

Hopefully, the prices will drop a bit more in the coming days so we can have affordable 70-class cards in the $500-$600 range.
