To be or not to be. Over the past few weeks and months, in what can only be described as a case of chronic myopia, tech enthusiasts approached the contentious debate around the camera specs and the battery size of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with a gravitas that equaled - or perhaps even surpassed - the one hinted at within this famous Shakespearean soliloquy.
Now, however, Samsung's official promo material for the upcoming 'Galaxy Unpacked' event has formally put an end to any lingering uncertainty on both counts.
Samsung's promo material for the upcoming 'Galaxy Unpacked' event reveals a 5,000mAh battery and a 10MP telephoto sensor for the Galaxy S26 Ultra
Ice Universe, Schrödinger, and @SPYGO19726 had waged an ugly battle - more akin to a mud-slinging fest - over the past few weeks and months, centered around a single, 'momentous' question: whether the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra would bear a 10MP or a 12MP telephoto lens. Concurrently, questions continued to swirl as to whether the upcoming flagship would bear a 5,000mAh or 5,200mAh battery.

Well, now Samsung's official promo material for next week's 'Galaxy Unpacked' event has settled the debate on both counts.
As such, we can now definitively conclude that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will bear the following camera setup:
- A 12MP selfie camera
- A 10MP 3x telephoto camera
- A 200MP main camera
- A 50MP ultrawide sensor
- A 50MP 5x periscope camera
Also, the upcoming flagship will bear a 5,000mAh battery, negating previous reports that had suggested a slight increase in the battery's energy density.
Elsewhere, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to sport a number of color options, including the stunning Cobalt Violet, Black Shadow, White Shadow, and Galactic Blue. Do note that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to debut with rounded edges, a dedicated camera island featuring a triple-camera setup, an all-black color option (including the frame), and a USB-C port.
Also, even though it was previously rumored, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is now not expected to sport the Qi2 built-in magnets, which would have unlocked an entire ecosystem of MagSafe accessories.
Meanwhile, as the lone star attraction for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Samsung is bringing its Flex Magic Pixel OLED technology to the upcoming flagship, enabling what is now being dubbed a 'Privacy Display.' Basically, the technology would leverage AI to dim angular viewing angles without affecting the screen brightness for a head-on viewing experience. This would prevent anyone from snooping on your smartphone-related activities from lateral angles.
Finally, as we noted earlier today, Samsung intends to further improve the performance of the camera system within the Galaxy S26 series by implementing a novel noise reduction algorithm, which should yield very sharp images in high resolutions.
