Samsung's Galaxy S25 series was the main highlight this year, but the South Korean tech giant is not yet done with its 2025 lineup. The tech community is now eyeing the unveiling of its Galaxy S25 Fan Edition (FE), which is the affordable model offering some key features of the premium model. While the rumor mill has been churning about the upcoming budget device for quite some time, the latest leak seems to give a detailed look at the device and the color range it will come in.
Galaxy S25 FE leak reveals four color options and a familiar design
It seems like the spotlight is on the Galaxy S25 FE, which is expected to come out later in the August or early September launch window. Leaks have surfaced again, this time giving away the color options for the upcoming model. As per the latest report, the FE will continue offering the same premium experience that the previous versions have brought about. The renders clearly show the four striking colors the model will be available in:
- Jet Black
- White
- Light Blue
- Dark Blue
We see Samsung leaning towards more mature and minimalistic colors in an attempt to bring it closer to the design language of the flagship models, representing palettes that are more modern and reflective of the changing tastes of the audience. If we look back at the past, the tech giant has experimented with colorways by introducing bolder options, including Yellow and Mint.

Samsung is maintaining similar aesthetics as the rest of the Galaxy lineup by keeping the same design language. It focuses on flatter edges, a triple-camera layout, and a more minimal outlook—specifically resembling the base model. The design is familiar and does not suggest any major overhaul, but it maintains the refined look the tech giant generally uses.
Apart from this, the Galaxy S25 FE is expected to come with an Exynos 2500 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and internal storage of either 128GB or 256GB. The camera setup is also not a huge upgrade, as it would feature a 50MP primary camera, 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP 3x telephoto lens. For a mid-range phone, it maintains a well-rounded photographic experience, especially with the addition of the 12MP selfie shooter.
The battery life and charging are getting a bump with a 4,900mAh battery and support for 45W wired and 15W wireless charging. Compared to its predecessor, this is a huge improvement. With the S25 FE, Samsung seems to focus on polishing the mid-range phone rather than introducing novelty. As the launch date approaches, we could see more details shape up, so stay tuned.
