A new Prince of Persia The Lost Crown trailer and gameplay footage were shared today, providing a new look at the next entry in the series launching early next year on PC and consoles.

Alongside the Reveal Animated trailer, new commented gameplay footage was shared during today's Ubisoft Forward, showcasing Mount Qaf, one of the locations players will explore in the upcoming game. The footage showcased how players will be able to access new areas by using a variety of special powers unlocked as the adventure proceeds, fast-paced combat, plenty of platforming, and some special powers such as time and gravity manipulation powers that can be combined to dispose of the strongest enemies Sargon will find on his path.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown was announced last week during the Summer Game Fest 2023 showcase. In this new entry in the series, players will control the gifted warrior Sargon as he embarks on a journey to rescue Prince Ghassan. As he explores Mount Qaf, Sargon will meet all sorts of powerful creatures that he will be able to fight using his powers, which will evolve during the course of the adventure in true Metroidvania fashion.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown launches on January 18th, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch worldwide.
