TL;DR: Two Colors (Silver & Space Gray) – Two Storage Models (64GB and 256GB) – Price Starts at $999

Apple has unveiled its biggest iPhone in years. The much awaited and super exciting iPhone X is now official! The phone is literally everything that we were told in numerous rumors and speculation. From its bezel-less design to wireless charging to Face ID – nothing came as a surprise today. What else wasn’t a surprise? It’s price.

iPhone X starts at $999 – comes in just two color choices

Ever since we learned that the iPhone maker and the most famous company in the world is going to launch 3 phones this year, it was expected that the third phone will be the one to shove the flagship smartphone category to an even pricier range.

With all its glitz and glamor, Apple has priced iPhone X at $999! The device will come with 64GB and 256GB storage options. The latter will come at a whopping price tag of $1,149.

The sad thing (well, apart from the pricing, of course)? There will be NO gold color option! Can I use some sad emojis here? The tenth anniversary iPhone will only be available in silver and space gray.

Yes, there is no black option either. The space gray finish, however, looks closer to the jet black version, with more gloss thanks to its glass back. The silver iPhone X now brings a black face to mesh better with the OLED display.

“iPhone X will be available in silver and space gray in 64GB and 256GB models starting at $999 (US) from apple.com and Apple Stores and is also available through Apple Authorized Resellers and carriers (prices may vary),” Apple said in its press release.

The company also shared that the iPhone lovers in the US will be able to get the iPhone X with monthly payments starting at $49.91 using the iPhone Upgrade Program. You will also be getting the AppleCare+ protection and have the opportunity to upgrade to a new iPhone every year.

Preorder iPhone X: when can we get our hands on it!!

This question is on everyone’s mind right now. While some people may have already started to line up in front of the Apple stores, the iPhone X won’t be available until late October.

Apple’s iPhone X with its all-screen design and Face ID will go on preorder on October 27 and won’t start shipping until November 3. We all heard about the shipping issues. Let’s hope delaying the shipping gives Apple enough time to avoid any price hikes on sites like eBay.

P.S. Don’t forget that you can get the Apple iPhone 7 for just $549 and the brand new iPhone 8 is available for $699.
