Google has decided to grace us all with the Pixel Feature Drop for March, as it is now rolling out to everyone except the users in the U.S., who are going to have to wait till 11th March, later this month. There are several features that are coming with the latest Pixel Feature Drop, available on both Pixel phones and the watch itself, so there is plenty to go around for everyone.
Google graces all users with the latest Pixel Feature Drop
For starters, the Pixel Feature Drop brings improvements to the Call Screen. With the new update, it can start when the caller is silent - users will see a "hello" chip when the caller is unresponsive. All you have to do is tap the button while you are screening the call and Google Assistant will ask the caller to start speaking so you can have a better understanding about why they're trying to get in touch with you. In case you cannot answer the screened call right away, Google Assistant will let the caller know to wait longer.
For those who like to document their lives on social media, the Pixel Feature Drop is going to allow you to upload and share 10-bit HDR videos directly on Instagram Reels. You will also be able to upload Ultra HDR photos on your Instagram without any issues. Moving further, with the latest Pixel Feature Drop, Circle to Search is coming to Pixel 7 series devices as well, and will work just like it does on newer Pixel devices.
The new Pixel Feature Drop is bringing a number of features to the first generation Pixel Watch starting with Pace Training and Heart Zone Training. There is also a redesigned workout user interface with larger text and brighter colors that should aid you in looking at your workout. The Pixel Watch is also getting auto-start and auto-stop in addition to auto-pause, so you no longer have to worry about stopping or pausing your workouts manually.
Thanks to the new Pixel Feature Drop, the Pixel Watch is getting the ability to use the Fitbit Relax app. You will be able to go for breathing exercises right from your wrist. There is also the ability to track how many moments of mindfulness you have completed over time.
The Pixel Feature Drop also brings the ability to get public transit directions on your Pixel Watch. This is a very handy feature for anyone who is navigating using their watch. The feature will work on both Wi-Fi and LTE variants, so you know that you are never getting lost.
The entire Pixel portfolio is getting the ability to share just one app at a time, whenever you are on a video call. This is a handy feature for everyone who is looking to ensure that they don't want to go ahead and share the entire screen. The feature is available on Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 5a 5G, and newer Pixel devices.
