Philips unveiled two new QD-OLED  gaming monitors in the Evnia 8000 series, boasting 27-inch and 32-inch panels with up to 360Hz refresh rates.

Today, Philips announced two new gaming monitors in its Evnia series, featuring QD-OLED panels. One is the Evnia 27M2N8500, boasting a 27-inch screen size and QHD resolution, while the other one is the Evnia 32M2N8900, featuring a 32-inch screen with 4K resolution. Both monitors offer QD-OLED panels for high-quality visuals and great ergonomics for easy adjustments.

Each monitor boasts a wide color gamut, covering up to 98.5% DCI-P3, 147.5% sRGB, 120% NTSC, and 118% Adobe RGB for vibrant images. The color accuracy is Delta E < 2 for sRGB and the viewing angle is also up to the mark of 178°/178° both horizontally and vertically.

Philips Evnia 27M2N8500

The Philips Evnia 27M2N8500 is a 27-inch gaming monitor that features 2560x1440p resolution. It has thin bezels and supports up to a maximum of 360Hz refresh rate, making gameplay extremely fluid. The monitor also comes with DisplayHDR True Black 400 support for vivid details. Along with an infinite contrast ratio due to the OLED panel, the Evnia 27-inch monitor can provide rich details in visuals by displaying true blacks and accurate colors.

Philips Evnia 32M2N8900

The Philips Evnia 32M2N8900 is identical in appearance to the 27-inch monitor but boasts a bigger 31.5-inch screen for more immersion. It's a flat display with a QD-OLED panel with a 3840x2160p resolution, making visuals more detailed. The monitor can reach up to 240Hz of refresh rate and supports DisplayHDR as well. Just like the 27-inch display, it features a quick response time of just 0.03ms and also supports Adaptive-Sync for tear-free gaming.

Philips Evnia 27 and 32-inch monitors come with Dynamic Lighting technology, which lets users synchronize the RGB lighting of the LEDs behind the monitor with the RGB lighting of other peripherals. Furthermore, the monitors support Ambiglow Lighting which can follow the sound and video content for an immersive user experience.

For connectivity, the monitors are equipped with the latest HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-B ports. A USB Hub is also present, providing users with several USB upstream and downstream ports, and a fast-charging USB C port, delivering up to 65W of power. Equipped with an ergonomic stand, users can adjust the height by up to 130mm, swivel by -20°/+20°, and tilt by -5°/20°.

The Evnia 8000 series monitors come with a three-year warranty, including burn-in coverage for the OLED and QD-OLED panels. The Evnia 27M2N8500 is priced at £649.99 while the 32M2N8900 will cost £1,039.99. Philips will officially launch the 27-inch monitor for sale in late September while the 32-inch version will be available in early October.
