Popular monitor maker AOC has added another QD-OLED gaming monitor in its Gaming series, filling the gap between Q27G4ZDR and Q27G4SDR.

AOC Launches Gaming Q27G4ZD With 3rd-Gen QD-OLED Panel; Features 280 Hz Refresh Rate, QHD Resolution, and DisplayHDR400 Certification

Monitor manufacturer AOC is back with another affordable gaming monitor in the Gaming series. AOC recently launched its first QD-OLED gaming monitors in the Gaming lineup, following a couple of high-end OLED monitors in the AGO PRO lineup. The Gaming OLED series has been further expanded with the launch of the Q27G4ZD gaming monitor, which fills the gap between the two existing QD-OLED monitors.

The Gaming Q27G4ZD offers competitive specifications and features while remaining much more affordable than the AGON PRO series QD-OLED monitors. The Q27G4ZD features the 3rd-gen QD-OLED panel, which is also used in the Q27G4ZDR and Q27G4SDR, both launched in November 2025. The Q27G4ZD brings a higher refresh rate of 280 Hz than the Q27G4ZDR (240 Hz) and lower than that of Q27G4SDR (360 Hz).

Apart from different refresh rates, most specifications are similar, such as resolution, screen size, HDR specification, and ergonomics. At a screen size of 27 inches, the Q27G4ZD brings a 1440p resolution, a wide color gamut, and DisplayHDR400 support with up to 1000 Nits of Peak brightness for vivid image quality. Detailed specifications aren't revealed, but what we can see from the unveiled specs is that the Q27G4ZD isn't an enthusiast-grade OLED monitor by any means.

It's ideal for those who are looking to transition from regular LED panels to OLED for deeper blacks, faster response, and higher refresh rate. The Q27G4ZD excels in all areas and provides plenty of modern features for a pleasant gaming experience, such as 0.03ms of response time, G-Sync compatibility for tear-free gameplay, and a highly ergonomic stand for easy adjustments. Plus, there is a dedicated USB hub with four USB-A ports, enough to handle multiple peripherals simultaneously.

The AOC Gaming Q27G4ZD is priced at £419.99 or US$564 and will be available for purchase starting this month.
