In less than one day, players all over the world will be able to try out Blizzard's Overwatch thanks to the open beta, which will be launched on all formats. If you really cannot wait to experience the game, and are willing to do some extra work, you will be happy to know that you can already access the beta in English on PlayStation 4.
The Overwatch open beta has been made available for download a few hours ago on the Japanese PlayStation Store. The beta comes features multiple languages, so you will just have to download it with a Japanese PSN account and later play it on your main account. It doesn't take that long to create a Japanese PSN account, and you can follow some simple guides like this one to help you through the process.
The Overwatch open beta can also be accessed earlier by those who have pre-ordered the game from participating retailers. The open beta requires an Xbox Live Gold subscription to be played on Xbox One, while the PlayStation 4 one doesn't require a PlayStation Plus subscription. All progress made during the open beta will not carry, so players will be starting right over from the beginning when the full game launches later this month.
