Origin Code Announces Vortex 48 GB DDR5-6200 CL28 Kit, Coupled With a LCD-Equippd Water Block for Enthusiast-Grade Cooling
Memory maker Origin Code has expanded its Vortex memory lineup by introducing a new 48 GB memory kit, featuring two 24 GB memory sticks rated at 6200 MT/s. At just CL28, reaching 6200 MT/s is exemplary, but thanks to the exceptional design, the Vortex 48 GB (2x 24 GB) DDR5 kit is able to reach new heights without compromising on the latency.
Moreover, the kit can hit 8000 MT/s with Dual EXPO Profiles P2 at just CL36, offering excellent performance across various workloads, including professional apps, AI operations, and gaming. Apart from the 48 GB kit, the Origin Code already has various memory capacities, including 32 GB (2x 16 GB), 96 GB (2x 48 GB), 192 GB (4x 48 GB), and 256 GB (4x 64 GB), offering 6000-6200 Mt/s at CL26-CL30 timings.
Origin Code says the new 48 GB kit is tuned for next-gen workloads and will be amazing for content creation, intensive multitasking, and competitive gaming. To further unlock its performance, the kit can be coupled with a new Vortex Water Block, which aims to deliver superior performance while improving thermal performance significantly. The company says that the Vortex Water Block can deliver up to 50% improved heat dissipation efficiency, reducing average temperature from nearly 66°C to just 31°C while the kit operates at nearly 1.55V. Previously, the cooling solution was limited to a triple-fan cooling kit.
The water block uses a dual inlet and one outlet flow design with standard G1/4 threads for efficient coolant circulation. The water block also brings a dedicated 178° wide-view LCD, featuring a resolution of 222x480p at a 60 Hz refresh rate. This display can monitor hardware stats and show real-time metrics that can be convenient for enthusiasts.
Origin Code will showcase its latest Vortex DDR5 lineup, including the new 48 GB DDR5-6200 kit, at the Computex event alongside the Vortex Water Block cooling solution. Pricing and release details aren't discussed yet.
