OnePlus 10 Pro EU and NA Variants Are Finally Getting Android 14-Based OxygenOS 14 Updat

OnePlus 10 Pro users in the EU and NA regions can finally rejoice as the phones based in these regions are finally getting the much-awaited Android 14 update. This is something that a lot of people were disappointed about because OnePlus took its sweet time before the update started rolling out to everyone. As expected, users in India were the first ones to get the update, and then it started rolling out in other regions, with EU and NA regions being the last to get the update.

The OxygenOS 14 on OnePlus 10 Pro reminds us of all the good things OnePlus skipped on in the latest update

What this means is that your OnePlus 10 Pro (NE2213, NE2215, and other variants in this region) is now receiving the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 update. I received the update on my device last night, and Reddit users have also started reporting that they are getting the latest update. You can check the screenshot below to get an idea:

As you can see, the update weighs almost 2.5GB, which should not really come as a surprise. At the time of writing, it is running the November 2023 security patch, so you are not getting the latest patch, but it should not be that far away. I have been using the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 on my OnePlus 10 Pro since yesterday and have not encountered anything strange aside from the fact that once the update was installed, I lost my phone signals, and reinserting the SIM card fixed the issue. Other than that, I think the battery has been improved, and there are small visual improvements that you see all over the UI.

Sadly, the Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 on OnePlus 10 Pro, much like the update on other devices, leaves a lot to be desired for. For instance, the update does not allow a comprehensive list of customizations that you can make. There are no customizations available for those who want to change things up on their lock screen either, which has been a very common feature on almost all versions of Android 14.
