OLED iPad Pro Launch expected this week

The OLED iPad Pro launch is right around the corner, according to recent reports, and we have been waiting for the flagship iPad models for more than a year now. The device has seen various delays in the past, and the last report speculated the launch to be by the end of this month. While the final word rests with Apple, we are now hearing that the company could launch the new OLED iPad Pro and M3 Macs this week.

Apple expected to launch the OLED iPad Pro and M3 MacBook Air models this week via press release

Mark Gurman recently shared insights on the release of Apple's forthcoming product upgrades, suggesting that the company will not host a dedicated event and, instead, launch the upcoming OLED iPad Pro and M3 Macs via press release. However, sources familiar with the matter have told MacRumors that the company could launch the above mentioned products as soon as this week.

The publication further points out that there is no information available on the list of products the company has in store for users. However, we are expecting Apple to announce new OLED iPad Pro models, two models of the iPad Air with the M2 chip, and the upgraded M3 MacBook Air. The company could also see fit to announce new accessories in line with its Spring theme of the year.

If the company is planning to introduce the new OLED iPad Pro and M3 MacBook Air models this week, it is likely that the launch will be done through a press release. However, if the company has plans to host an event later this month, Apple will send out invites a week or so before. Note that Apple has hosted events in the past during the same time frame. Having said that, the company is also familiar with releasing products through a press release.

Since the OLED iPad Pro is a major product launch for Apple, one that has seen various delays in the past, it is likely that the company will host an event. The OLED iPad Pro will potentially undergo a major cosmetic redesign as the company aims to make the devices slightly bigger, which will be housed in a new chassis. Henceforth, we would advise you to take the news with a grain of salt.

Apart from the OLED iPad Pro launch, Apple is also expected to announce new iPhone 15 colors, new Spring-themed cases and accessories for the iPhone and Apple Watch, a new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, and much more. Do you think Apple will host an event later this month? Let us know in the comments.
