NVIDIA has announced the timeline for its next GTC event, and according to official details, the event will return to San Jose and start on March 15, 2026.

NVIDIA's GTC 2026: Expect All About AI, Including Progress On Next-Gen Vera Rubin & Future Feynman AI GPUs

NVIDIA has been very active in presenting its media and showcasing its work to the world in the realm of consumer/AI hardware. This year, NVIDIA held two GTC keynotes, the usual one in San Jose, and another 'surprise' one last month in Washington, which was more concentrated on how the firm will shape America's AI policy. NVIDIA is a $4.4 trillion entity, which is why the firm finds it important to disclose updates around its tech stack with each incremental difference. Interestingly, NVIDIA's GTC 2026 announcement has already been posted on the company's official website.

The details on NVIDIA's official website indicate that GTC 2026 will be held in San Jose, starting on March 15, and will feature workshops focused on NVIDIA's tech stack, primarily CUDA libraries and advancements within the robotics sector. CEO Jensen Huang will present his keynote on March 16, and when you look at the announcements expected to be unveiled, they will predominantly be centered around AI infrastructure. At GTC 2025, we saw the unveiling of Blackwell Ultra, DGX Spark, and an outlook into Vera Rubin.

Now, at GTC 2026, we know that Vera Rubin will be the 'talk of the town' mainly since NVIDIA is expected to be mass-producing AI clusters around the architecture right around the timeline. We do know that several advancements are anticipated with Vera Rubin, including the inclusion of HBM4, TSMC's 3nm process, and significant upgrades within the networking stack. The performance bump relative to the Blackwell architecture is expected to be phenomenal, which is why Vera Rubin is expected to shape the future of NVIDIA's AI portfolio.

Since GTC is 'all-AI', there are few announcements expected on the consumer front, mainly because NVIDIA will dedicate those unveilings to CES 2026. Apart from Vera Rubin, Jensen is also likely to provide an outlook into next-gen Feynman GPUs, given that he loves to 'hype up' the world about what's coming ahead.
