NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB GPU Drops Below $700 US As AIBs Offer Stock Clearance Discounts 1

AIBs are offering some big discounts on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GPUs to clear up as much stock as possible.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GPUs Now Available At $679 US, Price Cuts Due To Stock Clearance Since 4070 Ti SUPER Replaces It Permanently

We are in the middle of decent GPU price discounts globally, with competitors such as AMD coming with aggressive price cuts in its RDNA 3 lineup. To catch up, NVIDIA's partners have finally decided to cut down GeForce RTX 4070 Ti pricing, with the MSI Ventus 2X models now coming under $700.

Both black and white variants of the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Ventus graphics cards have dropped, with the Ventus White going for $679.99 while the Ventus Black retailing for $689.99 after applying the mentioned discount coupons. The graphics card was originally priced at $799 US so this marks over a $100 US discount for each respective model.

Right now, NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is seen as the official "replacement" for the RTX 4070 Ti, and in terms of performance per dollar, the SUPER counterpart offered more VRAM of 16 GB and better core specifications, making it a better card and a great seller in the gaming market. However, with this price correction, it might be suitable for some consumers to opt for the simpler variant, but we would wait for a more significant price drop since it is imminent, seeing the market's trend. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER already trades blows with the RTX 4070 Ti at a much lower price point of $599 US so that should go into consideration before opting for the older Ti variant.

The AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE is also an option worth considering if you are going for higher VRAM since it offers 16 GB memory but the 4070 SUPER is already seen as a better option if you consider overall performance while the 4070 Ti is around 5% ahead of it. The 4070 Ti SUPER is much faster vs the same card but does retail at a higher price point making it compete against the RX 7900 XT.

As we shift to next-generation GPUs, current-gen AMD RDNA 3 and NVIDIA Ada Lovelace SKUs might see a considerable price drop moving ahead; hence, it could be the best time to grab them if you are looking for a decent upgrade.
