NVIDIA to Giveaway up to 20 Prizes, Including RTX 5090, RTX 5080-Based High-End Gaming PCs and Games Throughout Summer
Once again, NVIDIA will start giving away its best GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards and gaming PCs to the winners of a newly announced contest. NVIDIA calls it the "GeForce Summer of RTX", where gamers can have the chance to win high-end RTX 50 GPUs such as RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, but it also has a couple of high-end rigs in its catalog for giveaway.
Summer is the ultimate season for PC gamers—longer days, more time to play, and all the biggest moments in gaming, brought to life with GeForce RTX.
From the year’s most anticipated titles to massive reveals at gaming’s biggest shows, we’re serving up a season full of gameplay greatness, epic prizes, and fun ways for you (and a friend!) to level up and win.
The contest will run for roughly two weeks, and gamers can have multiple opportunities to enter the contest through various events. This includes Summer Game Fest, IGN Live, Xbox Games Showcase, PC Gaming Show, Steam Next Fest, and several upcoming big events. At every event, NVIDIA will announce new giveaways through its social media handles. Therefore, it urges users to follow the "GeForce" and "GeForce NOW" accounts on various social media.
Whenever NVIDIA announces a new giveaway, users will have to comment "#GeForceSummer" or "#RTXOn" on the posts to enter the contest and NVIDIA will randomly choose a winner. Winners can get GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards, RTX 5080 pre-built systems and also the Doom: The Dark Ages Wearable Helmet Replica or Skateboard Deck.
Currently, there are 13x GeForce RTX 5090 GPUs for the giveaway, including the DOOM Custom Wrapped RTX 5090 FE special edition card, and various custom editions from NVIDIA's board partners. The top tier category includes three custom NVIDIA special edition gaming PCs, each equipped with a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU ($5700 in value) and two GeForce Garage Custom builds worth $5000 each.
